“I Refuse to Grow Up. Spare a Penny!” is a one-woman show by Vera Ion, an actress based in Bucharest.

It is inspired by Vera’ trip to London, where she met a Romanian street performer doing Peter Pan in Southbank.

There will be no fee at the entrance, but a donation will be welcomed at the exit.

Please don’t be late, the pub will let it as many lads as the room for the show will accept.

Editura Herg Benet și librăria online Elefant.ro vă invită joi, 26 aprilie, în Londophone pub, Str. Zalomit nr. 2 (vis-a-vis de McDonalds Cișmigiu, București), de la ora 19.30, la evenimentul “eCitește Herg Benet”, pentru lansarea oficială a platformei ebooks a editurii.

Vor fi prezenți cu lecturi din noile lor cărți Iulian Tănase (autorul volumului “Cucamonga”), Jean-Lorin Sterian (autorul cărții “Antume”) și Vlad Tăușance (autorul volumului de poezii “legende urbane”).

Alături de cei trei scriitori sunt invitați Vlad Puescu, digital project manager al librăriei Elefant.ro, și Alex Voicescu, directorul editurii Herg Benet, care vor discuta despre statusul cărților cu suport neconvențional.

What are you doing this Wednesday, April 11? Drop by Londophone, at about 8 PM to listen to the Running Clouds in an unplugged concert!

Running Clouds will be doing covers of songs you know for sure in an acoustic manner.

Runnning Clouds started as a band in 2011. Among the bands they enjoy the most are: Incubus, Placebo, Porcupine Tree and Audioslave.

The band is formed by Achim (bass), Geo (drums), Vlad (voice and guitar) and Alex (guitar).

After a series of NU & APA NEAGRĂ concerts in Germany, the band goes on promoting its album with a gig in Londophone, Bucharest. Flags, masks, stratified sounds and a knotty space. Or, as the German media announced it – Mămăliga rock.

Gilda is a 3rd year student at the Journalism Dept., Hyperion University. Her passion for photography started when she was in high-school. One can find her photos in various publications, on web-sites, personal blogs, event reviews and books.

Every picture of this exhibition has a story behind it, where many of Gilda’s friends played a key role.
